Dhiya Villanueva has exclusively practiced workers’compensation defense since 2008. She has worked on claims for commercialtrucking, hospitals, emergency services, retail companies, and schools. She advocates for swift and reasonable settlements but will not hesitate totake a case to trial and has obtained several “take nothings.”
Dhiya grew up in Southern California. She attendedCalifornia State University Long Beach where she obtained a bachelor’s degreein Print Journalism. She then attended Whitter Law School where sheearned her juris doctor degree and was a part of the Whittier Law Review andTrial Advocacy Honors Board.
Dhiya is married with three children. She enjoys thebeach, paddle boarding, playing pickleball and doing yoga. She is veryinvolved in her children’s schools and volunteers many hours in her sparetime. She has a puppy named Mookie who she loves taking for walks at thebeach.
